Web Site Maintenance
We can update your site for you whenever you have new content or want to change content that is currently displayed. Our maintenance rate is currently $75/hour, with a one hour minimum per order.
For clients that prefer a more dynamic maintenance arrangement, we offer a web-based custom-built content management system (CMS) that will let you modify site content on each page of your site. Although there is an up-front setup/configuration cost for this tool, it is vastly popular due to the flexibility it offers. Benefits include:
- You don’t need to write any code – a simple interface is available for editing text (similar to MS Word). You can try the edit component for yourself by visiting our web site at http://www.ecria.com/demos/edit.
- Updates to the site can be made at any time, from any computer with an Internet connection, and updates become visible to the public immediately (as soon as you save them).
- You can upload images, create hyperlinks, news articles, frequently asked questions, and staff profiles (along with generic content pages).
- Unlike other content management systems, our custom-built system is exceptionally easy to use – anyone who can write an email can use it with minimal effort.
- Visitor tracking tools – a tracking page will show you how many page views your site has received, where visitors are (where they are connected to the internet), what pages they looked at, and what they were looking at prior to visiting your site (which link they used to get to the site, if relevant).
- You can update/edit keywords, descriptions and window titles for each page on your site, allowing you to maximize search engine optimizations.
